The Company's primary mission is to identify sources of germanium and to develop methodologies for recovering germanium, either through mining or through the extraction of germanium from fly ash and similar materials. War Eagle Fly Ash War Eagle's fly ash program commenced in 2007, with a Letter of Intent signed with ELCOGAS S.A. aimed at determining the possibility of leaching germanium from the ELCOGAS S.A. coal gasification plant in Puertollano, Spain. The technical and economic feasibility of such leaching is currently being tested by researchers at the University of Seville in Spain, in conjunction with the Asociación de Investigación y Cooperación Industrial de Andalucía (AICIA), and in consultation with leading coal/germanium professors and researchers from the University of Barcelona (University and Research institute). War Eagle has also signed a Letter of Intent with SaskPower International Inc. and Saskatchewan Power Corp. to test for germanium from SaskPower's coal plants in Canada, and is investigating possible sources of high Ge fly ash in several areas of the United States. War Eagle Mining War Eagle has been exploring the underground workings of the former producing Tres Marias zinc/germanium Mine and outlying target areas of the Tres Marias concession in Mexico. The Tres Marias mine produced high-grade zinc/germanium ore from 1949 until 1992 via small scale production. Production ended in 1992 after the smelter used by the former owner, Zinc National, became unavailable for continued use. In light of the current economic downturn, War Eagle suspended exploration drilling at the Tres Marias concession in February, 2009. War Eagle's other exploration projects consist of the an interest in the MAC Tantalum, Tin, Lithium project in Northwest Territories, Canada the George's Lake Gold project in Saskatchewan, Canada, and the Candle lake Diamond project in Saskatchewan.
